Web Page Terry Fox in Colombia. Terry was a Canadian 22-year-old victim
of bone cancer; Twenty-five years ago he was determined to run coast-to-coast
across Canada to raise awareness and funds for cancer research. Terry died on June 28,
1981. The Canadian hero was gone, but his legacy was only starting around the
world. The 9th annual Terry Fox Run Colombia took place in Bogotá on October
10, 2004, in cooperation with the Colombian Terry Fox Committee and the
